Had 2020 been a normal year, I would have been doing my last wedding ceremony of the year this weekend. But alas – it’s on hold until next year and will be every bit as beautiful as the fabulous couple had planned! So today, I wanted to share one of the ways we’ll be incorporating some Christmas magic into their ceremony!

Put on some music – I recommend ‘Message in a Bottle’ by The Police, sit back and spend a few minutes learning about how you can incorporate a message in a bottle in your ceremony!

Incorporating much loved heirlooms into your wedding is a beautiful way to remember and honour family and friends. Many of the couples I’ve worked with have incorporated their own heirlooms from wearing family rings to including stones and small photos in bouquets or wearing a family wedding dress. Earlier this year Princess Beatrice did just this when she wore a dress from her own grandmother, The Queen, on her wedding day.

This year weddings have taken a massive hit. It’s tough out there folks. That said, I’m not a negative person and I see 2020 has an opportunity to rethink a few things – including weddings. The fact is, for the time being, we are going to have to celebrate weddings in a different way because the government mandates it. Read on for a few ideas!
